This is the second annual TABLE 5K hosted by Alpha Phi Omega, Rho Chapter (APO). APO is a co-ed service fraternity that has played an active role in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro community for over 75 years, both doing service in the community as well as fundraising for local charities.

TABLE is a Carrboro nonprofit that feeds over 500 hungry kids in the area. APO has established a partnership with TABLE to host this 5K with the aim of raising money for TABLE, bridging the gap between the UNC campus and the town of Chapel Hill, and promoting fitness within the community as a whole.

This year, the race will be held on February 11, 2016, with registration and packet pick up from 6:30-7:30am and the race beginning at 7:30am. The race will begin and end on Cameron Avenue, between the Old Well and the Campus Y. The race is open to all walkers and runners of any age and ability level, and we encourage all participants to run or walk at a pace that is comfortable to them! Immediately following the race, there will be food, activities, and a raffle near the finish line available to all participants. All remaining proceeds from the race go directly to TABLE of Carrboro, NC.
