Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-Up: Friday, January 27th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sarasota (711 S Osprey Ave Ste 1, Sarasota).  Packets may also be picked up on race morning. 

Online registration closes at midnight on Thursday, January 26th.  Registration is available for a $5 price increase at Friday night packet pick-up or race morning. 

Schedule for Saturday, January 28th:

6:45 am - Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration opens

7:30 am - Opening Ceremony 

8:00 am - 5K

8:45 am - Kids Run

8:50 am - Dog Walk

Don't forget to dress your furry friends in their most festive attire for the doggie costume contest!  Bring the whole family to enjoy face painting, bounce house, photo booth and vendors.

PLUS - Suncoast Animal League will be onsite with puppies looking for their forever home, so take home your new best friend!

Parking: Free event parking is available in the Payne Park lot and in the parking garage located on Adams Lane.

Course: The Start and Finish areas are in Payne Park (2050 Adams Lane, Sarasota) on the School Avenue side of the park.  The Kids Run and Dog Walk course follows the 1/2 mile crushed cinder path in the park.  The 5K is a two lap course through the park on crushed cinder, concrete and grass.

Awards: Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall 5K finishers in the following categories for both male and female: Overall, Master, Grand Master, Senior Master, Veteran Master.  Age group awards will be given to teh top 6 finishers in the following age groups for both male and female: 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, and in five year increments up to 80 and above.

All Kids Run participants will receive a finisher's medal and Dog Walk participants will receive a finisher's dog tag.  A prize will also be given to the winner of the doggie costume contest.

Breakfast: The Dashing Diner food truck will be back to provide free breakfast to all participants!  Additional meals can be purchased for $5 per plate.  A coffee station will also be available prior to the race.
