The Florida Run @ Lake Louisa State Park

• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
• Kids 1 Mile Fun Run:- Run 1 Mile

 - Lake Louisa State Park, famous for its six beautiful lakes, rolling hills and scenic landscapes is the setting for The Florida Run. Known as one of Central Florida's more challenging and unique races, the course will take runners on paved surfaces, dirt trails, grass trails and some sand. You will run through old orange groves, pine trees, by creeks and around lakes. You may even have the opportunity to see equestrian riders, wild turkeys, deer and other wild life. The beauty and challenge of this race is what keeps people coming back as we entertain kids, walkers and competitive runners.

Half Marathon, 10K and 5K athletes will be chip timed, receive a custom finisher medal and high quality shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall winners for men and women in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races and the top three finishers (men and women) in each age group (5 year age groups) for the half marathon and 10K.
1 Mile Kids Run will be an out and back on the road. All kids will receive a smaller finisher medal and giveaway item.

Race Day Schedule:
6:00 AM - Park opens (Their is a $5.00 entry fee. This money goes directly to Lake Louisa State Park)
6:15 AM - Registration opens
7:45 AM - Half Marathon start
8:00 AM - 10K start
8:05 AM - 5K start
8:08 AM - 1 Mile Kids Run Start
9:00 AM - 5K, School Challenge and Corporate Challenge Awards
10:05 AM - 10K and Civil Servant Challenge Awards
10:45 AM - Half Marathon and Get Up and Go Awards


We will have post race food for all participating athletes.

Lake Louisa will be charging a $5.00 entry fee. Your entry fee goes to support park operations in Florida’s 161 award winning state parks including habitat restoration and maintenance of our many facilities. Lake Louisa State Park boasts 60 campsites, 20 cabins, 2 primitive campsites and equestrian/ group camping facilities. Your entry fee is important!

Once in the park it will take you 20 minutes to drive, park and walk to the race start. We ask that all athletes and spectators arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. so that our course will be clear of cars.
