Train to run the Capital City 5 Mile Race!
This program, led by Club Oly members is a 16 week program designed for new runners and those who have NO running experience who want to make a positive change in their lives. (Before starting any training program, please consult your physician.)
Using the walk/run method with as little as 20 to 30 minutes of walking and jogging just 3 times a week, we can help just about anyone reach their goal of running a five mile race.
Join us Saturday, January 28th 8:00am at South Sound Running in Olympia for an introductory meeting to the program. Training will begin the following Monday.
Training Schedule: During the program we will meet during the week on Monday and Wednesdays at 6 pm at Marathon Park and on Saturdays at SSR at 8:00am.
Registration fee is $50.00 which also includes a long sleeve shirt and full year Club Oly membership in addition to the 16 week training program.
