Course Info

The Lehigh course is two loops that totals two miles and runs throughout the Lehigh University Athletic Complex. The course is run mostly on short grace and features approximately 10 – 14 obstacles.

Our kid’s course is the same as the adult course, only with smaller obstacles, and the whole family gets to run the race together. This is the most family friendly mud run in the country!

Directions

From Interstate 78, take Exit 67 toward Hellertown/Bethlehem.

Go straight at the end of the exit ramp across Route 412 onto Silvex Road (between Wendy’s and Turkey Hill).

Continue on Silvex Road through a short tunnel and under an overpass until you reach a “Y” in the road. Bear left. At the stop sign, turn left onto College Drive. At the next stop sign, go straight across William Street to continue on College Drive. The athletic facilities of Lehigh’s Murray Goodman Campus will be on your left.

Turn right at the stop sign at Mountain Drive and continue under an overpass and straight through the next stop sign. Follow the Lehigh University directional signs for the Asa Packer Campus. Bear left at the fork at the top of the mountain. (The entrance to Lehigh’s Mountaintop Campus will be on your right.)

Continue on Mountain Drive through the first stop sign. Stay right at the fork past Lehigh’s Sayre Fields and continue through the stop sign. Take the second left through the stone gates onto Lower Sayre Park Road. Follow Lower Sayre Park Road down the mountain.

Turn right at Upper Sayre Park Road. Turn left at the stop sign facing Taylor College (the tan residence). About 50 feet ahead is the next stop sign. Turn left onto University Drive and follow the curve of the road to the right (continue straight through the stop signs). The road will become Brodhead Avenue as you continue down the hill.

The Alumni Memorial Building is on the right and is easily identified by its tall stone tower. The visitor entrance to the Alumni Memorial Building Arrival Court and Parking Pavilion is on your right at the intersection of Summit Street and Brodhead Avenue. Enter the Parking Pavilion by bearing to the right as soon as you enter the Arrival Court.

Parking Information
Primary parking reserved for visitors to the Office of Admissions is on the first level of the Parking Pavilion.

Locating the Office of Admissions
Exit the garage near the elevator and continue straight ahead on the walkway to the Alumni Memorial Building. Enter the building through the door at the head of the exterior stone stair. You will find the Office of Admissions on your left, through the glass doors. Note: A handicapped-accessible entrance is available using the ramped walkway to the left of the exterior stone stair. As you enter the building, take the elevator ahead to the first floor. It opens directly within the Office of Admissions reception area.
