Led by this year's honorary race chairs,
Vince Pravato and
Eric Woodling, the walk/run is open to adults and children and welcomes both serious competitors and casual enthusiasts. The Race features a certified 5K race course and medals for race category winners and youth participants. I Care I Cure also offers a Mile Run of Color Fun beginning at 9:00am, in which participants wear white t-shirts and run or walk a mile while experiencing a deluge of safe, nontoxic color. Participants may choose the 5K or the Color Run individually or can participate in both. The race will be followed by a Family Fun Day with activities for kids, free food and entertainment until 11:30 a.m. at Nova Southeastern University in Davie for all registered participants.

Enter your team in the Challenge! There will be a student and adult catagory. Starting on the day your team is registered, your team will earn points through various activities they host such as:
- Hosting a Bake Sale
- Offering a jeans Days
- Selling Candy or Flower Grams
- Having a Networking Happy Hour
- Collecting Quarters for a Cure
- Raising funds on your team or personal fund raising page
- Attending the I Care I Cure Florida Panther's Game on January 14th.
And many more fun and friendly ways to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.
Rules - Each $50 raised will score 1 point for your team.
- 1 point per registrant will be given to each team for every team member who attends the I Care I Cure Evening at the Florida Panthers on January 14, 2017.
- Points will also be awarded for largest participating group.
- Race Day competition includes jump rope and other fun activities. (limited to 2 representatives per team)
- Team participants must be registered during the preregistration period only. There will be no team additions made the day of the race. Team photo times and meeting spots will be assigned and there will be a designated team packet pick-up location at the race.
One team captain must register the team name and all team participants can choose their team by following the prompts and choosing the appropriate team on the drop down menu.Teams will be divided into student* and adult /corporate categories, with an impressive grand trophy awarded at the end of the event to one adult team and one student team. A pizza party will also be awarded to the winning school team.
