The 8th Annual Marietta Mardi Gras 5K Fun Run & Walk will bring the Mardi Gras celebration to Marietta Square.  Register for a Timed or Untimed 5k, 1k or Tot Trot. This event is hosted by the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta.  Proceeds from this race benefit the mission of the Junior League Cobb-Marietta - promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action of trained volunteers.

6:30am - Raceday Registration & Race Number Pick-up 

8:00am - 5K Run/Walk start

9:00am - 1K Fun Run/Walk start

9:15am - Tot Trot start

RACE REGISTRATION:

Online registration through Wednesday, Febuary 8th at midnight.

Mail-in registration should be postmarked by Saturday, February 4th, and sent to:  Marietta Mardi Gras 5K

TEAM REGISTRATION:

Create a team of 10 or more participants, and receive a 10% discount for all participants.  This is a great way to save a couple of dollars, and have fun with your friends, family and/or an organization you are involved with.

RACE NUMBER PICK-UP:

Participants are encouraged to pick up their race number in advance at the Big Peach Running Company store in Kennesaw ONLY on Thursday, February 9th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.  Participants may also pick-up their race number on the morning of the race at the race site at Marietta Square.  Race number pick-up will begin at 6:45am through the start of each race.

RACE T-SHIRTS:

All participants who register for the race byJanuary 31st are guaranteed a race T-shirt.  If you register after this date,we may not be able to guarantee the size T-shirt you request on race day.

Race Results & Awards:

Race results for the 5K can be used as a Peachtree Qualifier.  Race results will be available through Marietta5KRun.com or Active.com immediately after the race.

Awards will be presented on race day immediately following the 5K in the following categories:  Male & Female Overall and Masters winners; and the top three M/F finishers in age groups 10 & under, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69 and 70 & over.  1K and Trot Trot participants will receive finisher ribbons.

Additional awards for Best Costume and Most Team Spirit.

RACE PARKING:

Parking is available at several parking lots surrounding Marietta Square and the government buildings adjacent to the square.  Please obey any posted parking regulations where you elect to park.
