Did you know that on average an NBA player runs a total of 5 miles during a game? And teams can play over 50 games before the All-Star break. That is running over 250 miles! Well if you want a faster way to get to the NBA All-Star Game all you have to do is run 3.1 miles, faster than anyone else in LA!
Join us on Saturday, February 19th at 8:30 AM at the Staple Center as NBA FIT presents the inaugural NBA All-Star FIT Run, Walk & Dribble where our top male and female finishers will each receive two tickets to the 2011 NBA All-Star Game!
But don't worry, the day is more about being NBA FIT than just who is the fastest man and woman in LA. There will be music, refreshments, mascots, players, sponsor, interactive games and more!

Are you ready for this? Our overall male and female will each win two tickets to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 20th at the Staples Center. Who wants it?
Additional awards and prizes from adidas will be presented to the top three male and female finishers overall as well as age group finishers starting with 14 and under, then in 5 year groups up to 80+.
Plus anyone can compete in the Fast Break Zones along the course! That is right in each mile (3 in total) you will randomly enter a Fast Break Zone each of which is approximately 94 feet (the length of an official NBA court). Each time you enter a Fast Break Zone you will be timed as to how fast you can make it through. We will tally your cumulative time for each Fast Break Zone and award our top ten finishers with some awesome prizes from our sponsors!
