_ 2017 Drop13 Half Marathon & 5K Run:

Be a part of one of the fastest races around with the Drop13 Half Marathon. This race starts high in Big Cottonwood Canyon (East of Salt Lake City) near Solitude Ski Resort and heads West downhill for a decline of 3000 feet of elevation over the 13.1 Miles. 100% downhill. This race is the one of the prettiest in Utah as well with a great Spring run off and green lush Aspens and Pine trees.

Course Info

The half marathon Starts at Solitude and runs downhill 100% of the way to Cottonwood Heights City over 3000 feet of decline. Such a beautiful course and fun fast race.

Runners have 4 Medals they can earn for this race:

- High End Finisher Medals

- Age Group Awards 3 Deep

- Personal Record Medals (40-50% PR this Course)

- Drop13 Pounds Medals - given to all those that lose 13lbs in the process of training for this race.
