Richmond International Raceway (RIR) will host the inaugural Checkered Flag 5K & Kids Fun Run to start the spring race weekend in 2017. In partnership with the Richmond Road Runners, the race will take runners around the RIR property and onto the historic track surface, finishing the last leg of the race at the official RIR finish line. Participants of this unique new family race, now have the opportunity to run where legends have run.
