Hey Radio 88.9 FM  is looking forward to hosting this years UNITY 2017 A-Stage this August. We're kicking it up a notch and building on that energy and enthusiasm with the 7th Annual Hey 5K Run and 5K Walk. This race course will take you right through the downtown streets of the city of Muskegon with the start and finish at the Historical Union Train Depot now occupied by the Muskegon County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Leaving the depot, you'll be guided through the downtown streets on a flat and fast route that will take you right by Muskegon's new evolution. See artistic new sculptures like the incredible Muskegon Rising sculpture in the city's center surrounded by fresh new buildings like the Sidoc Building, The new Chamber of Commerce facility, and the new Institute of Culinary Arts. Don't forget about all of the amazingly detailed historical archetechture that went up during Muskegon's rich Lumber Baron era over a hundred years ago!

As an added bonus, the HEY 5K is the same weekend as the Unity Music Festival at Heritage Landing. The Unity Festival draws an average 40 Thousand fans each year. Get your Unity tickets online at www.unitychristianevents.com.

Getting to the Muskegon County Convention & Visitors Bureau (Train Depot, 610 W. Western Ave.):

From the north - Take US 31 South to the Downtown Muskegon exit. Stay to the left towards downtown Muskegon/Business 31. Merge right towards Shoreline Dr. Turn left at 7th St. Turn left at Western Ave. We are located on the corner of 7th St. and Western Ave.

From the south - Take US 31 North to the Apple Ave exit. At the end of Apple Ave. turn left onto Muskegon Ave. Turn right on 7th St. Turn right on Western Ave. We are located on the corner of 7th St. and Western Ave.

From the east - Take I 96 West to the Ludington exit/US 31 North. For the remainder, follow the directions from the south.
