 - With over 2,000 runners and spectators each year, Run! Ballantyne has become a local favorite and team-building tradition among companies, schools and organizations. Participants of all ages and abilities will run and walk the smoothly paved streets inside the beautifully landscaped Ballantyne Corporate Park and finish at the Sara’s YMCA. Celebrate with family and friends while taking post-race photos, enjoying Food Truck bites, listening to DJ music and taking a walk along Run! Sponsor Row. There are post race activities the whole family can enjoy!

The 13th Annual Run! Ballantyne 8K/5K Race & 1-Mile Fun Run is the first event in the 2017 YMCA of Greater Charlotte/South Community Events Series. The YMCA believes all kids deserve the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential. As a Run! Ballantyne participant, YOU help assure a child in need can participate in YMCA Afterschool, Preschool, Summer Camp and Youth Sports programs that build confidence and teach important life skills. Your support and participation will help provide them with a fun and safe environment where they engage in enriching, healthy activities with positive role models.
