_ 2017 Nucor 5K Hero Dash:
We invite you to join runners and walkers of all ages for the third annual Nucor Hero Dash 5k and 1 Mile Fun run taking place on March 18, 2017. This event takes place in the historic and scenic downtown Decatur area on a certified 5k and 1 Mile course. We encourage you to dress up as your favorite hero whether it be a super hero, community servant or someone who is or has fought cancer.
All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. This is a wonderful opportunity to give to an organization that is committed to eliminating cancer. This disease has affected everyone in some form or fashion, and it will take all of us to make a difference.
5k participants are guaranteed a tech shirt if registered by March 1, 2016. Fun run participants will receive a regular t-shirt if registered by March 1, 2017
Participants that register after March 1, 2017 will receive shirts as available but shirts are not guaranteed especially by size.
