JOIN US for the Fifth Annual Kennesaw Super Hero 5K-1Mile being sponsored by the Kennesaw Police Department and their committment to raise funds for Special Olympic Athletes.  The program provides for year-round training in events such as Bowling, Basketball, Tumbling, and many other sports.  The Kennesaw Police have raised over $300,000 since 1994.

The 5K Run/Walk is a race for runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages.  We invite you to bring your family and friends to help raise awareness for Special Olympics.

Event details and schedule

COURSE:

Start and finish on 1300 Cobb International Parkway located off of Hwy 41 in Kennesaw, GA. The course is USATF Certified and a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and the race will chip timed!  Registration starts at 7 with 1 mile, 5k and 
Tot Trot to follow.

COST:

5K - $25.00

1 Mile - $25.00

Super Hero Phantom Runner - $25.00

Tot Trot - $15.00

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Race day registration will begin at 7:00am at 1300 Cobb International Parkway, Kennesaw, Ga.  You will drive onto Cobb International Parkway and turn left at the first road.  You will then make a right into the first parking lot and be directed to park.

RACE START TIMES:

1 Mile - 7:30am

5K - 8:00am

Tot Trot - 9:00am

PACKET PICK-UP:  TBD

TSHIRTS:

All participants registered prior to March 12th will be guraenteed a race t-shirt.

AWARDS:

Overall Male/Female and Male/Female awards in 10 different age groups.

Race will be held rain, shine, sleet or snow

as nothing stops a "Super Hero"!
