• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Fun Run:- Run 1 Mile

 - The 2017 Heroes Run is a way to remember...and to honor...those who protect us and especially those who have given their lives protecting our country.

The Heroes Run is about about all those who stand in the breach to protect our homeland and its citizens.

We have heroes with us today.  You can see them wearing their military uniforms, their firefighters' turn out gear, their sheriff and police uniforms and EMS uniforms.  We run to honor them.

We RUN to honor the heroes of 9/11.

We run to HONOR those who’ve served our nation.

We run to ACTIVATE COMMUNITIES and EMPOWER our local veterans, first responders and survivors.

But especially, we run to REMEMBER and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Participate as an individual, or gather a team of 4 to prepare together and complete the race.

The proceeds from this race will go to The House that Valor Built, a Habitat for Humanity home for a veteran in Lee County.  For more information about the House that Valor Built, visit http://www.http://www.flintriverhabitat.org

Come celebrate our heroes with us, and help us build something that last: a strong community of citizens that want to make a good place better!

This race is listed on the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series, and is also part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

HOW TO REGISTER
Register at Lee Branch YMCA at 316 Robert B. Lee Drive Leesburg, Ga from 01.09.2017 to 02.24.2017.

Register day of event at 7:00 AM at the Government Building, 111 Main St. Leesburg, Ga.

PRIZES
Race t-shirt & goodie bag guaranteed to all pre-registered runners by 02.13.2017.
Refreshments & snacks will be provided during event.
AWARDS
1 Mile Fun Run: Top three finishers male & female age groups (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15 & older.
5K &10K: Masters overall male/female, overall male/female, top three finishers male/female age groups ( ten & under, 10 -14, 15-19,
20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older. No Duplication.

RACE PACKET PICKUP
