 - Join us at our NEW LOCATION AND NEW TIME - SANDY CREEK PARK - ATHENS, GA.  The 5K and fun run course will be run inside the park with little to no traffic.  Walkers and Strollers are welcome.

Event Details

Early packet pickup: Will be held on Friday, February 17th from 2PM to 6PM at St. Joseph Catholic School Gym at 958 Epps Bridge Parkway.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 9AM at Sandy Creek Park.

Fun Run: Starts at 10:30AM

5K: Starts at 11AM

5K Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be awarded to male and female winners for age groups 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 and over. There will be TWO $250 cash prizes awarded. One male entrant and one female entrant will be awarded $250. *ELIGIBLE category winners will be entered into a DRAWING for $250 cash prize. *Cash drawing categories: Overall Male & Female, Overall Masters Male & Female(40+) Overall Grandmasters Male & Female (50+), Overall Seniormasters Male & Female(60+) *Must be 21 or older to receive cash awards and not be enrolled in an academic institution. Do not have to be present to WIN!!!

Fun Run Awards: Finisher’s Medallion to all who finish the race. All ages are invited to participate.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services.

Shirts and Goodies: Sport Tek Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 2/2/17.  Those who register after that date and on race day will be given shirts while supplies last.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
