 - Nathan's Race (formerly the Cougar Challenge) takes place in beautiful Tanglewood Park in early spring when the weather is perfect for enjoying an early morning run.  Our timed race starts and finishes at shelter #2, a venue with easy access to parking, bathrooms and paved running trails that wind through the bucolic fields and woods of Tanglewood.  The 5K race is a 2 and a half loop course with the 10 K race looping the same trail once more.  And, for the seasoned runner, the Dual Race Challenge combines the 5K and 10K courses for a 15 K race.  Mile signs will mark your distance and a water station will be available for your convenience.  A light snack of bananas and oranges will also be provided after the race. 

Nathan's Race honors Calvary Day School (CDS) student Nathan Clark who passed away in the fall of 2014.  Nathan was a great friend, athlete and student who loved CDS.  The Nathan Clark  Scholarship was created to provide children in the community an opportunity to obtain an excellent education in a strong Christian environment that they could not otherwise financially afford.  All proceeds from Nathan's Race will go towards sustaining this scholarship.

15K Dual Race Challenge: 8:00 am / Adult: $65 (Race day fee $70)  Student: $55 (Race day fee $60) A special gift will be given to each runner who takes on the challenge!

Virtual Runner: $30 / Can't Attend or you just want to cheer on participants?  Show your support of the race by giving $30 to the Nathan Clark Scholarship.  Click here to give online.  T-shirts for virtual runners can be picked up at packet pick-up or at the race.

Packet Pick-up: Friday, March 24 in the Christian Activities Center (CAC) in A building on the Calvary Day School campus (5000 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC) from 7:00 am-8:30 am, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm - 7:00pm.  Race day pick-up starting at 7:00 am.

Late Registration: On Friday, March 24 during packet pick-up or at the race on Saturday, March 25 starting at 7:00 am.  Race fees increase by $5 on race day.

T-shirts:  All race participants will receive a race t-shirt compliments of Hanes Brands.

Teams:    Team captains should register their team name.  All participants on that team can choose their team name during the registration process. To be considered for the first, second and third place team medals, teams must consist of four runners.
