This year, Fayetteville Urban Ministry, Inc. & Camping World have decided to spice things up a bit and kick off the world famous Fayetteville Duck Derby with 2nd Annual Duck Derby 5K and you’re invited! So register now and maybe even adopt a duck (or two!) for your chance to win a ton of incredible prizes including a Coleman Camper from Camping World of Fayetteville! Race Winners or “Top Ducks” will receive and autographed picture with the Quacky, a free duck for the Fayetteville Duck Derby, and a trophy! Don't forget your pets and strollers!

PACKET PICKUP: Thursday February 23 from 4-7 pm at Candlewood Suites 4108 Legend Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Saturday February 25 7am-8:30am at the race site (cash only)

DISTANCE: 3.1 miles
CLIMB: 42 ft.
This is a 3.01 mile route in Hope Mills, NC United States. The route has a total ascent of 42.63 ft and has a maximum elevation of 172.57 ft. The run will begin at Camping World of Fayetteville with an exhilarating straightaway along Highway 95 on State Rd. 2275 followed by a quick right onto Marracco Dr. which leads racers into a bucolic little neighborhood where smooth straightaways and kind, wide corners provide a comfortable, but competitive, route that will ultimately weave back around to Marraco Dr. before coming to a crescendo with a mad dash, walk, waddle, or run to the finish line at Camping World of Fayetteville where it all began!
AWARDS: The Awards Ceremony will be held at Camping World of Fayetteville. The top 3 overall runners will be granted the title of “Top Duck” and receive an autographed picture with Quacky, a free Fayetteville Duck Derby Duck, and a trophy. Medals & one t-shirt will be given to the top three men and women in the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
POST RACE: Stick around after the race for fruit, coffee, and water. The food along with the awards ceremony will be held Camping World.
