The Queens Distance Runners & NYCRUNS proudly present

THE SECOND ANNUAL QUEENS MARATHON

Are you ready for 26.2 Miles on the 26th of March, 2017?

Last year, it was an incredible honor to have not only put together “The Inaugural Queens Marathon” in partnership with NYCRUNS, but remarkable to have seen such invested support from Queens Businesses, Institutions and the general public for our Inaugural Effort.

Join your fellow runners and make history with our 2nd Annual Queens Marathon on Sunday, March 26th at Flushing Meadows Corona Park!

While Queens Distance works on building the Queens Marathon, we can assure you that the Boston Qualifier-friendly course at Flushing Meadows remains exactly the same!

Queens, the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, welcomes you to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, our most prestigious park as The Queens Distance Runners proudly present, The Second Annual Queens Marathon! Take in the sights of the World's Fair Grounds, wave hello to the Queens Museum, and circle the iconic Unisphere as you tour the Crown Jewel of Queens.

QDR: SPRING MARATHON TUNE-UP

Training for a Marathon a little later in the Spring? Come to Queens and Tune-Up and be a part of the festivities of the Queens Marathon!

We will be doubling up our "Spring Marathon Tune-Up" in conjunction with The Queens Marathon, as it will provide runners with the opportunity to train towards a later Spring Marathon and be a part of the Queens Marathon festivities!

COURSE

The Marathon is a 4 loop course. This course will be a USATF Certified Boston Qualifier.

The QDR Spring Marathon Tune-Up will be 3 full loops of the Queens Marathon Course, slightly under 20 miles.

AMENITIES

Bag check and toilets will be provided. Clif Bar products, bagels, spreads, fresh fruit and more will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post race spread. The giveaway for this race will be a t-shirt, and all finishers that meet the official time limit will receive a medal.

Last year, we provided each registrant of The Inaugural Queens Marathon with an “It’s In Queens” bundle which came packaged with goodies and amenities that makes Queens, “The World’s Borough”. What we can tell you for 2017, is that your Queens Marathon “It’s In Queens” bundle will be just a bit heavier!
