Join us at 11AM on Saturday, March 4th at Stormbreaker Brewing and enjoy a 5k-ish fun-run through the Boise/Elliot/Mississiippi neighborhood of North Portland! Walk, jog, run on our lovely course! We’ve mapped out a course that starts and ends at Stormbreaker and our guides along the way will make sure you know where to go.
All participants receive a craft brew from Stormbreaker Brewing, collectors pint glass or seasonal swag item, and other goodies from series partners.
Registration is limited, so sign up today!
Let’s consider this an “un-race” as it goes against many principles of other 5k races you may be familiar with. This is not timed and you will not get a medal when you finish. We also don’t close down any streets, but will make sure your route is safe and fun!
What a great way to enjoy Portland in the late spring, sample beer from local breweries, and know that a portion of your entry fee is going to support The Portland Parks Foundation and Oregon Brewshed Alliance.
The fun-run starts at 11:00 AM sharp! Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start to get checked-in. Don’t forget some extra money! In addition to your FREE beer and swag, there will be merchandise for sale, food, and plenty more beer!
As is the case most places in Portland, parking is tricky at Stormbreaker. There’s not parking lot, but circle the neighborhood until you find a spot. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
Look for our informational email closer to the event. We will remind you of these details and share anything else you might need to know.
Cheers to beer! We’ll see you at Stormbreaker Brewing!
Located on historic Mississippi Ave in NE Portland, Stormbreaker Brewing is a result of two hard working guys (Rob and Danny), who wanted to find a place to brew their own beer. As their site says, they are,
Two beer loving guys busting our humps every day to make some of the best beer around. We are working hard around the clock and putting our heart and soul into every ounce of every batch.
Stormbreaker not only has great beer, but pretty good food as well.
