The COURSE

We are excited to treat you to what we believe to be one of the most scenic running courses around.  Our historic course takes in THE best that San Antonio has to offer; showcasing the cultural icons that reflect the wonder of our fine community.

From the boom of the historic multiple musket volley you’ll zip past The Alamo and down historic Houston Street with the likes of the Buckhorn Museum and the Majestic Theatre.  Then around to intimate Crockett Street and a sweet view of the River Walk and past The Alamo again.  You’ll be treated to some amazing views as you head up to Dignowity Hill Park and across the classic Hays Street Pedestrian Bridge with its magnificent vista of downtown San Antonio.  Next up is another famous brewery that has become the San Antonio Art Museum and then over through the heart of The Pearl and past Brackenridge Golf Course, the site of so many famous golf tourneys.  Slide on thru the tranquil trees and chase a few ducks off the path of Brackenridge Park as you take in the active sounds of wild animals at the Zoo just feet from your pace.  Next up, jump on the sweet Museum Reach of the River Walk and under the colorful large fish art display.  Exit the River Walk at the handsome Tobin Center for Performing Arts boat ramp, zoom across Broadway as you begin your kick and back to a cascade of applause down the histoic cobblestones to The Alamo Finish.

Course Time Limits: You will have plenty of time to complete the course with a 4 HOUR TIME LIMIT.  This is an easy 18 min. mile pace.

We’ll have plenty of Aid Stations every 1 – 1.5 miles stocked with plenty of water & Gatorade to replenish you.

The RELAY ~ 2-Person

RELAY folks enjoy The Alamo Start and move on over to the luxury shuttles on E.
