THE COURSE

The surface is 99% flat asphalt roadways. The race will take you past the historic Matthew Jones House, along the beautiful James River with a view of the Ghost Fleet, near Fort Crawford and then past a site of an early American brick factory located on Mulberry Island.

Ample parking, restrooms, and shower facilities will be available for use at Anderson Field House. Two (2) water points (both will be hit twice) will be stationed at various locations on the race course and at Finish Line.

Joint Base Langley Eustis, Fort Eustis is conveniently located between Newport News and historical Williamsburg.

Take I-64 to Fort Eustis Blvd, exit 250A and proceed to main gate (approx. 1 mile).

Stay to your right and turn into visitor area to obtain temporary pass to enter Post.

• 10K Ruck (6.2 miles) starts at 0830 hours; 10K Run starts at 0900
• Registrations received after 25 February are $25
• Race day registration starts at 0700 hours
• 10K – No official times after 1030 hours
• No refunds
• No rain date
• A Peninsula Track Club Grand Prix event.

 Ruck Details:

10k Ruck REQUIRES a ruck sack/backpack to be carried for the entire duration of the race. Ruck sack and participant will be weighed at both the Start & Finish Line. *Participants will be required to provide their own ruck sack/backpack and weight.*
