4th Annual Ft. Myers 5K Race and Health Fair...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us for a fun 5k race and food festival/health fair to raise money for Golisano's Children's Hospital.  This is an action packed event the whole family will enjoy.  After the race enjoy free healthy food samples from local chefs in our family life center. Outside interactive area for kids will include a rock wall climb, the Ft. Myers Fire Department demonstration, and much more!

Proceeds:

Proceeds from this race will be donated to Lee Memorial Hospital - Golisano's Children's Hospital. 

5k Race Course:

The start of the race will begin in the church parking lot. Runners will exit the parking lot and cross Ortiz Ave. turning left and proceeding on the paved trail. The trail will curve right and provide shaded section before a straight away leading to a wooden bridge. After crossing the bridge, there will be a water station and then another straight away. A turn around point will be clearly marked with volunteers cheering you on along the way. We ask all runners to be courteous and stay to your right as those in the front will be returning on the same paved trail. Once returning to the church parking lot, you will make a quick left turn and finish through a chipped timed finish line shoot.

Note: All vehicle traffic will be stopped on Ortiz Ave. by Ft. Myers Police Department.

Pre-Race Registration/Packet Pickup:

There will be an optional pre-race packet pickup at 7:30pm Saturday March 11, 2017 at 3451 Ortiz Ave. in the Family Life Center Gymnasium.

Registration/Start Time:

Registration and packet pickup will also be available on Sunday March 12, 2017 at 7:30am. The race will start exactly at 9:00am (note: daylight saving time). Faster runners please line up in the front and slower runners please line up in the back. All runners please arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior the start!

Runner Bags:

All registered runners will receive a bag filled with surprises. Register today to save money and guarantee your race shirt. A bag drop area will be available using your numbered bib tab attached to your runner's bag.

Awards:

Awards will be given at the end of the race in the family life center gymnasium. While waiting for runners to return, feel free to walk around and sample the many free healthy food options inside the family life center.
