RACE
The 5K On The ParkwayValentine's Run/WalkRuns starts at the East Coast Christian Center on Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island. The course runs through Catilina Isle Estates and returns to East Coast Christian Center.  Post Race activities will take place near thefinish line.

Attendees will enjoy great refreshments, bounce house, games, music, interactive learning exhibits that foster love of nature, custom shirt, age group awards, and lots more until 10:30 a.m.

Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment process by Feb. 13 are guaranteed a free race shirt.

Top Female and Male Masters (40+)
Top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

TIMING & SCORING
This is a chip timed event where all participants receive a chip that is attached to the back of the bib. It's very important that you wear your bib.

How long is the course?             
5K is 3.1 miles

How will I be timed? 
There will be a clock and all participants will have a chip attached to the back of the bib number. There will also be a clock at the finish line to view your time.  

Can I participate in the event with my dog? 
Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course.

I will be out of town on race day and not able to participate. Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration. As the race brochure states, we are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks. 

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.   

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
