Support our Armed Forces at the National D-Day Memorial by participating in a patriotic themed 5K Run/Walk and Youth Fun Run! Not only does the race begin and end at the picturesque Memorial, but a total change in elevation of 220 feet provides a unique challenge for runners of all levels to “Conquer the Hill.” Participants will also have the opportunity to honor and interact with members of the Armed Forces past and present. All proceeds will benefit educational and veteran recognition programs of the National D-Day Memorial, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations. Individuals are encouraged to sign-up and raise additional pledges to support the cause.

Online registration opens on February 1, 2017. Early bird pricing ends on March 31 and the t-shirt guarantee deadline is May 1. For registrants after this date, shirts will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Prizes will be awarded for the top finishers overall for the 5K Run and teams for team spirit and top fundraiser. All Youth Fun Run participants and the top three finishers in each age category will receive a medal.

Refreshments will be provided to participants following the race. There will also be door prizes.  All who participate are invited to stay for a guided tour of the Memorial following the event.

Packet pick-up will be on May 19th, 12 - 6 p.m. at a to-be-determined location. On-site registration and packet pick-up will be 6:30-7:40 a.m. on May 20th at the National D-Day Memorial.

Tiger Trail and Overlord Circle will close to traffic at 7:40 a.m. through the duration of the race on Saturday, May 20. Participants and event spectators must be on-site by this time in order to participate in the race. Admission fees will be waived during the 5K event (6:30 – 10:00 a.m.) No pets and no firearms allowed.
