Come join us for a fun run on the beach at low tide. Each participant will recieve a coupon for a FREE margarita at Cafe Coyote! 

Time: 7:30 am 

Location: on the hard-packed sand (during low-tide) at Mission Beach just south of the roller coaster.

Amenities/Refreshments: We will have color T-shirts, post-race refreshments, and finisher medals for all entrants! All entrants 21+ will receive a margarita ticket from Cafe Coyote in Old Town. We will also be giving away great prizes from our sponsors!

Margarita 5k entry cost:  thru Dec 25th ($25 - limited spots available at this price!), thru Feb 28th ($30), thru Mar 28th ($35), thru check-in ($45)

Chip-Timing by: 

The Margarita 5k will have 5 year age-groups, male and female, as follows:
14U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Awards: 1st place in 5-yr. age-groups 

Awards ceremony will take place beach front just south the roller coaster and will begin about 15 minutes after the last runner comes across the line (approximately at 8:15-8:30am).

Refund policy: Sorry we do not provide refunds after Mar. 1st. However, you may transfer your entry to the following year or to another individual. There is a $15 transfer fee. You may request a transfer by contacting [email protected]

NOTE: If you live OUTSIDE of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning, April 2nd from 5:30-7:00 a.m. If you live in the north, east or south sections of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning. Our events take place "rain or shine". 

At the MANDATORY CHECK-IN ALL ENTRANTS MUST PRESENT A SUITABLE PHOTO I.D.

YOU MAY NOT HAVE SOMEONE PICK-UP YOUR PACKET. YOU MUST PICK-UP YOUR OWN PACKET AND PRESENT YOUR I.D.
