The "65 Roses" story. 
In 1965 Mary Weiss became a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation volunteer after learning her three boys all had CF. As she was calling local clubs and groups tying to raise money for CF research her 4 year old son, Richard, heard her and said, "I know what you are working for. You're working for 65 Roses."
For over 40 years 65 Roses has been used by children to describe their disease. It makes it easier to say but it doesn't make it any easier to live with the ugly fact that CF is the number-one genetic killer of children and young adults.
We hope every time you see beautiful roses you'll think of Richard, his two brothers, and the thousands with Cystic Firbosis. Thank you for your support.

Race day registration starts at 6:30 AM at FMC Campground, 1601 Campground Circle, Summit, MS 39666

McEwen Swamp Road 10K Run & Summit Turnpike 5K Run will start at 7:30 AM, Summit Turnpike 5K Walk at 7:31 AM, Felder Campground 1 Mile at 9:00 AM.

Overall and top three in 10 age groups for 10K Run, 5K Run & 5K Walk.
Top three Teams in 5K Run & Walk only. 

Lots of good food, door prizes and (new this year) a silent auction.
