Paws for a Cause 5K and 1 Mile walk for the Dogs

General Information: 7am start

Date: Sunday, April 30th

Time: 7am Start for the 5K, 1mile dog walk to start shortly after 5K finishes

About the event:

Paws for a Cause 5K and 1 Mile Walk for the Dogs is an event to benefit Doberman Rescue League Inc, a 501C-3 (registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture CH45078) non-profit corporation founded in 1975 that serves the state of Florida in rescuing, rehoming, fostering, and caring for Dobermans in need.

This event offers something for everyone! It has a competitive 5K course with accurate timing provided by Split Second Timing and a 1 Mile noncompetitive walk for the dogs.

Please join us after the race for the awards ceremony, food, music, and fun!

Doggie rules:

Well-behaved and socialized dogs of all ages are welcome! Please, no retractable leashes or leashes longer than 6 feet. Dogs must be on leash at all times and have rabies tags on their collars the day of the event. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. (Disposable waste bags will be available at the event).

We reserve the right to refuse entry or request that a dog be removed from the course if it might prove hazardous to others or whose physical condition appears to be compromised.

Bandanas will be provided to all doggie participants!

1 Mile Virtual Dog Walkers $20                   $20

Bandanas will be mailed to all registered virtual participants.

Metals: Metals will be awarded to 5K winners.
