   Raising Obesity Awareness. Changing Lives.

More than 93 million Americans are affected by the disease of obesity. Here in Georgia, our obesity rate is 17th in the country. More than 65% of our residents battle this disease.

The Center for Weight Management at Gwinnett Medical Center–Duluth is doing everything we can to bring attention to this lethal disease.

Now, we need your help.

Help us raise awareness about obesity by joining us for our Annual 5K walk/run. Whether you’re walking or running for yourself or someone else, you’ll help Gwinnett Medical Center educate others about the importance of weight loss.

All proceeds from this fun 5K will go to the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation to help in our fight against obesity.

Beginner Run/Walk'ers

This event is to help introduce 5K's to beginners. We invite individuals of all skill levels to participate and cross the finish line.

Raffle Prizes

To further help us raise money for the fight against obesity there will be a raffle held prior to the finisher announcements. Prizes from our sponsors will be raffled to those that have purchased raffle tickets at the event. Each ticket will be $1 and can be entered to win your prize of choice.

Race Day registration: $35 (cash or check only and does not guarantee promotional items.)

Youth rate (14 and under): $15

There will packet pick-up and race registration on the morning of the race from 7:30 am to 8:30 am
