Cherokee Challenge...

• 2 Mile Run:- Run 2 Miles

The Cherokee Challenge is a two mile challenge course located on the beautiful property of Toccoa Falls College. This race will take participants through the foothills where they will be climbing walls, throwing tomahawks, climbing, crawling, jumping, swimming and completing many other Cherokee challenges! Not only will this be a fun event but all funds will go towards purchasing new gear for the Toccoa Falls College Outdoor Club. During race day stop to see the beautiful 186 foot tall waterfall which is located near the finish line or take time to enjoy many miles of hiking trails located on our campus. There will be a village like atmosphere during race day for participants of all ages to enjoy games, ddelicious food, prizes, live DJ, and more. Event details and schedule

Cherokee runners are encouraged to show up an hour before their designated race heat to allow time to park, register, and stretch before your heat. Security and volunteers will direct you to a safe parking spot and guide you to the check-in table. Bring a valid ID and some extra cash to purchase food after the race. Heats will begin at 9:00 AM and depart every 15 minutes. At 8:30 AM the DJ will begin to lead all runners through a pump up stretch routine before the races start. All participants are encouraged to wear running/tennis shoes, shorts, and shirt that they do not mind getting muddy. There will be a section of swimming and multiple creek crossings, which will only come towards the end of the course, so participants are encouraged to bring a towel to dry off. There will be coat check available for participants to safely store valuables and other items with the Cherokee Volunteers.
