• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

JCC Live is hosting the JCC LIVE 5K COLOR FUN RUN on Saturday, April 29th, 2017. Since the word "fun" is a part of our race, we will not be timing this event for race participants. But what you do have time for is getting covered in color and having an amazing time! The race path will take you along the scenic and iconic landmarks that surround Johnston Community College. Each registered race participant will receive a race color swag bag,a JCC Live 5K t-shirt to help commemorate their participation, and a sweet treat. Proceeds from the event will go to support the JCC Live student organization to achieve their goal of attending various student media convention, college visits, and more. Please note that if your sign up for the Jagger Dash for children 7 and under this does not include a color swag bag, tshirt, or surprise treat. But we will have a face painter, sweet and savory food truck, a dj and more. This event is limited to the first 150 people that register.

Race Packet Early Pickup

•  April  18th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Tart 112)
• April 20th from 3:00  pm to 5:00 pm (Tart 112)
• April 21st from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm (Tart 112)

April 29th, 2017 Race Day Information

• 7:30 am Volunteer Check-in (Wilson Building)
• 8am Race Participant Registration Check-in
• For Race Participants that did not pickup their race packets.
• Pre Check-in for race participants that already have their packets and thus will need to ensure race bib verification and race path information).

• 9:00 am Color Run Welcome Announcement 
• 9:15 am Volunteers Check-in to their Color Crew Assigned Stations
• 9:30 am The 5k Color Fun Run Begins
• 10:15 am The 1 Mile Color Fun Run Begins
• 11:00 am Jagger Dash for children 7 and under Begins
• 11:30 am to 1:00 pm The Color Run Party Begins (music, food, face painting, and more)
• 1:15 pm Volunteers Check Back In
• 1:30 to 2:00 pm The Color Run Fun has ended and now its time for clean up.
