Description
  • Cost for the run is $16.00 for pre-registration and $20.00 for late registration (after 5/3/08).
  • 34K Mountain Bike course is $20.00 preregistration and $25.00 late.
  • Cost of duathlon is $25 early and $30 for late.
  • One mile registration is $5.00.
  • If a runner fails to show, his entry is non-refundable and will be considered a donation.
  • If you dont run the race you will not receive a shirt.
  • Pre-registration will close on 3 May 2008.

    Course Info
  • The 12th Annual Mountain Ranger Run Association offers the most challenging and scenic cross-country/trail course that the North Georgia Mountains can provide.
  • This race will be held in conjunction with the 5th Ranger Training Battalions Open House.
  • The Open House will highlight US Army Ranger combat techniques, military mountaineering, hand-to-hand combat, and static displays.

  • From the Dahlonega square, go north on Hwy 19 for approx. 2 miles.
  • Turn left on Wahsega Road. Look for signs.
  • Go to the end of the road (approx. 9 miles) to Camp Frank D. Merrill (plan 30 minutes for travel from Dahlonega and for parking).

    Other Info
  • Water will be provided approx. every 2 miles along the run course, and every five miles along the bike course.
  • Fruit, drinks, and water will be provided at the finish line.
  • Showers are available (Male & Female). A limited number of lockers are also available for participants use.
