Shoes of Service 5K and Fun Run...

• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come out and join us for the Shoes of Service 5K at Lake Oconee Acadmey in Greensboro, GA.  The race will benefit Shoes of Service, a program within the non-profit organization Surgeons of Service.

Event details and schedule

Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 8:00AM

Fun Run: Starts at 9:00AM

5K Race: Starts at 10:00AM 

Course: The race will start and finish on the Lake Oconee Academy Campus

Awards:  Awards will be given to overall male/female, masters male/female. Also to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 5-year age groups.  Participation awards will be given to all of the fun run finishers.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 3/15/17.  Those who register after that date and on race day will receive shirts while supplies last.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, www.coolrunning.com

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
