5k Run & 1 Mile Walk

Location: St. Inigoes Youth Camp @ Loyola on the Potomac in Faulkner, MD
Time: 5k @ 9:00 AM, Walk begins immediately after run starts

Loyola on the Potomac and Saint Peter’s School Present Loyola River Run and Fun Day – 5K run and 1 mile walk.  Proceeds of the event will benefit our 2017 St. Inigoes Youth Summer Day Camp – “Unplug and Reconnect” at Loyola on the Potomac Retreat House. Entry Fees:

5k:

$20 until March 17
$25 until March 31
$30 after March 31 and on race day

1 Mile Walk:

$20 pre-register and $25 on race day

Please note: T-Shirts will be given to all registered participants (sizes not guaranteed after March 24th, availability not guaranteed to race-day registrants)

Complimentary Kids Run for ages 6 and under will be held at 9:45am or right after last runner crosses the finish line.

$1 Dogs & Veggie Burgers – Comp for Race Day Registered Participants

Please note that the race will be held rain or shine, and no refunds will be given.

Course:

The race will start and end at the St. Inigoes Camp (approximately .5 miles south from the Retreat House driveway on Popes Creek Road), and will feature a mix of paved, grass, and trail surfaces. Course map below:

Awards:

• Top overall male and female runners
• Top 3 male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Amenities:

T-shirts and hot dog meal tickets will be given to all registered participants (sizes not guaranteed after March 24th, availability not guaranteed to race-day registrants). Course marshals provide direction at major turns, water station at the halfway point on the 5k course and at the finish.

Packet Pickup:

Packets will be available for pickup on the morning of the race from 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM at the race site (St. Inigoes Youth Camp). Additional pickup opportunities may be announced – please check back for more details!
