_ Join us for The 2017 Meghan McCarthy Road Race. This event is a sanctioned and timed 5k USATF Certified Course. Run or walk a flat Tewksbury course and help support Brain Tumor Research.
Meghan McCarthy lost her life at the young age of 17 from an inoperable brain tumor. She was an extraordinary young woman who taught us all about miracles, faith, dignity and courage throughout her 3 year battle. She was a true inspiration.
Please join us on April 9, 2017 to celebrate Meghan's life and support Pediatric Brain Tumor Cancer Research at the Dana Farber Cancer institute.
The FIRST 100 registrants will receive a FREE Long Sleeve T-Shirt so SIGN UP EARLY!

Race starts at 9:00 AM sharp!
Same day registration starts at 7:30 AM.
Registration will also be held on Saturday (pre-bib pickup).
On Saturday and Sunday registration fee: Adults $35 and ages 18 and under $15.00.

Burnout tanks and tee shirts will be available for purchase on Saturday & Sunday for $20.00 each.
This is a flat road course that will be well marked. Runners will start in the front. Walkers at the back. PLEASE stay within the cones along the route for safety.
There will be a water station at the halfway point.
Times will be posted in the caferteria....medals will be handed out as placed runners in each group cross the finish mat. All others will be handed out at the end of the race.
Dress according to the weather this is a rain or shine event.
Parking
Ample, free well marked parking is on-site at the high school. Entry to the cafeteria is at the main entrance, right off the main drive and sidewalks. Race starts and ends in the parking lot.
There will be Food and refreshments available before and after the race.
