_ 2017 Summer Solstice Trail Run:
• Celebrate the approach of the Summer Solstice with a beautiful early morning trail run in Gay City State Park in Hebron.
• We offer a choice of a 5.5-mile or 3.3-mile run on Gay City’s impressive trail system through the park and surrounding forests.
• Trails are well maintained but expect some rocks and roots along the way.
• For protection of the trails, we limit this event to 400.
• Gay City State Park is the remnants of an 18th century abandoned mill town in Hebron.
• You will pass the remains of the old paper mill, cross over the Blackledge River and view many traditional old stone walls in the deep woods.
• The park is located on Route 85, near the border of Bolton.
• Trails are well maintained but expect some rocks and roots along the way.
