Description

2011 North Star Triathlon:

  • 2nd Annual North Star Triathlon is a 300 yard indoor swim - snake format (participants need to submit accuarate 300 yard times. Contestants will exit pool and transition to bike staging area in front parking lot. 12 mile bike course - out and back - well marked and staffed with volunteers. 5K run starting and ending at transition area. Fairly flat, hardsurfaced roads run. 
  • This event also can be done as a relay team of 2 or 3.
  • We will be holding our annual 5K run at 8am and we will follow the adult tri with a kids tri to make this a family event. Last year we had nearly 30 kids participate.
  • "Get Your Summer Game On" by using this as a tune up before the outdoor season begins.
  • Hotel information - special rate at Sleep Inn and Suites - located 4 blocks from event. The event is Memorial Day weekend - come enjoy the Tri/5K/Kids Tri and the Esthervillle and Iowa Great Lakes Region on May 29th.
  • PS: We offer one of the best t-shirts for all participants that you will find.
