Easter 5K Run...

• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Faith Baptist Church at Santa Rosa Beach will be hosting its inaugural Easter 5K Run and Kid's Easter Egg Hunt at the beautiful Grayton Beach State Park on Saturday, 15 April 2017. The race will kick off at 8:00a with the Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9:30a. The starting point for both events will be adjacent the main pavilion located at the end of Main Park Drive.  It should be a fantastic morning and a great start to the Easter weekend!  All runners who pre-register by Wednesday, 12 April are guaranteed a t-shirt.  We've got yellow and gray - we'll do our best to get you the color of your choice.  The t-shirts turned out great!  

There will be an awards ceremony that begins at 9:00a where age group category winners for both males and females will be announced.  

Timing for the Easter 5K will be provided by About-Time-Events LLC.  

Lastly, there will be plenty of snacks/food for all runners at the finish line.

Event Schedule: 

The 5K run will begin promptly at 8:00a with the awards ceremony beginning at 9:00a.  The Easter Egg Hunt, for children 8 years old and younger, will follow on the beach at 9:30a.  

Course Info:

The 5K begins on the sand adjacent the main pavilion, located at the end of Main Park Drive. The course proceeds down the beach (yes, lots of sand for most of the first mile!) and then through the idyllic town itself. From there the course proceeds out onto the nature path along 30A before heading back into Grayton Beach State Park. The 5K ends adjacent the pavillon. Courses don't come much prettier than this one!

Parking will be in the parking lots adjacent the pavillon.

Packet Pick-up:

Packet pick up and on-site registration will begin at 6:30a on race day

Race-day registration:

Race day registration will run from 6:30-7:30a on race day
