The Thursday Night Point Series stretches from May to October, taking 1 week off over the July 4th Holiday period. The walkers begin at 5:30, runners at 6:00 at the Shadyside Activity Center. The distance is 2.64 miles around the 2 lakes on a paved trail. Your times will be recorded and posted each week on our web-site. We give out ribbons each week to the Age Group Winners and anyone acheiving a Personal Best. If an individual participated in at least 8 of the 20 races, they will be considered for year-end awards in February. At this Award Dinner we recognize each Age Group Placer for all of their efforts with unique gifts that are highly sought after.
We also host monthly cookouts after the race and the Club provides the meat and tableware and members bring a side to share. This is a great time of sharing and fellowship. We hope you can join us!
