The Axis Physical Therapy Merry Fitness 5K is the end of the season celebration 5k race for Girls on the Run, Heart & Sole, and STRIDE participants. Formally The Physical Therapy Clinic Merry Fitness 5k.

Come join over 500 boys and girls, grades 3rd-8th, as they celebrate their accomplishments of the season! The course is a Jacksonville favorite that starts and ends at Jacksonvilel Commons Elementary. Public runners are welcome as this race provides scholarships to children who need assistance to participate in the Girls on the Run and STRIDE programs. Professional race production by the Wilmington Family YMCA and timing by Atlantic Coast Timing ensures a fun, safe, and accurate 5k race experience!

Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants do not need to register for 5k. Participants are already registered with program registration.

This event is rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, race directors will be in contact with race participants via email.

PACKET PICKUP and RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Packet Pick up is Friday, December 2nd 4:00pm-6:00pm at Axis Physical Therapy 26 Office Park Dr- Jacksonville Race Day packet pick up is Saturday, December 3rd from 7:30am-8:30am at Jacksonville Commons Elementary. Registration is available at packet pickup and on race day.

Race Tshirts

Shirts are guaranteed to the first 450 registrants who attend packet pickup. As with all races, Mery Fitness 5k organizers will try to the best of their ability to provide runners the size they have requested, however availability of specific sizes cannot be guaranteed.

Coastal Carolina Run Series!

The Axis Physical Therapy Merry Fitness 5K is the 11th race in the year-long YMCA Coastal Carolina Run Series! This yearlong series consists of 12 races across Coastal Carolina including a family-friendly beach obstacle course, 10k road runs, 1 mile fun runs, the traditional 5K distance and a trail runs. Participation is the key! The more races you run, the more the muscles burn, the faster the legs turn, the more points you earn!
