Walking or running for polio? it sounds like an oxymoron. This is a 5K Walk/Run fundraiser for Polio sponsored by Madison Southern High School's INTERACT Club, the high school branch of Rotary, International which has, as one of its three international intiatives, the total eradication polio (as defined by the World Health Organization). Net proceeds from our 5-K will be donated in total to Roatary, Int'l speifically for this purpose.

Registration will begin at 8:00 in the Madison Southern gym. Parking will be in the rear of the facility behind the gym. The run will be begin at 9:00 AM, the course running from Madison Southern High School campus on Glades Road (Foley MS parking lot) to Rash Road to Elipse St. to North Broadway to walking trail at the City Park close to railroad to Hwy 595 running north and crossing 595 to Glades Rd/MSHS. Course Map will be provided at registration and there will be volunteers positioned at points along the route. FLEASE NOTE; the interactive course map on this site does not recognize the portion of the course that runs through the City Park, therefore we cannot display an accurate version.
Light refreshments (fruit, water, etc.) will be available in the rear of the MSHS gym where the awards ceremony will be held at 11:30AM.
Signs will be posted and Interact Club members and school volunteers will be available for questions.

Best overall male and female runners, and males and females in each of the following age categories: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Up
