• 2.05 Miles Run:- Run 2.05 Miles

 A 2.05-mile run  to raise money for  Rockford Public School physical education and athletics. The early-evening run will take place on the streets of downtown Rockford, followed by a social at Prairie Street Restaurant.

The 2.05-mile evening run begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockford City Market site. The scenic route includes running over the Jefferson Street Bridge, up and around behind Riverfront Museum Park, and finishing with a home stretch on the State Street Bridge.

All participants over age 21 will receive tickets for food and drink at the post-race party at Prairie Street. The first 200 registered before May 26 will also receive a t-shirt. Shirts will also be on sale at the event until they run out.

  Awards will be given in age-group divisions as well as the non-traditional categories: Most Outrageous Costume and Most School Spirit. The traveling "Most School Spirit" trophy will be awarded to the RPS 205 school or group that is best-represented at the event. Packet Pick-up: Race Day 4:30-6 p.m. at the starting area at the Rockford City Market site.

 Registration Fees:

$25 per runner until May 26

$25 per runner for RPS 205 employees

$20 per runner - ages 20 and under until May 26

$35 per runner - on race day (June 4) - no race-day signup discount for RPS 205 employees.
