BARC Fix 'Em 5k...

• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us for a fun, furry time at Freedom Park with BARC Humane Society! This is a FUNdraising event to help this incredible, volunteer-run organization keep rescuing unwanted and unloved animals here in Lowndes County to show them that there are people who care! BARC is a 501(c)3 group that relies solely on donations to support their work. Proceeds will go directly to BARC to offset costs for rescue such as sponsor fees to pull shelter animals, food and supplies, microchips, medical care, and spaying and neutering. Help us to end animal overpopulation in South Georgia!

Pre-registered runners get a 5k t-shirt, and registered dogs get a doggie bag (your pooch does not have to be registered to run). There will also be food available for purchase after the run, with all proceeds going to BARC!

Ghost Runner

Can’t be at the race? Register as a “Ghost Runner” for $20 and receive a BARC Humane Society t-shirt

T-Shirts

All participants who register online by April 14th or by mail April 11th will receive a BARC Humane Society t-shirt prior to the race. Shirts will be given out to participants after the deadline on a “first come, first serve” basis.

Packet Pick-Up

Race day pick-up will be at Freedom Park @ 3795 Guest Road from 7 – 7:45am. This will be where the race will begin!

Dog Participation

Dogs will receive a bandana and treat when registered. Dogs do not have to be registered to run, but will not receive a goodie bag without registration. All dogs MUST be leashed at all times.
