Association for Individual Development (AID) will host the second annual Color Burst 5k Fun Run & Roll on Sunday June 4. AID is a nonprofit organization that empowers people with physical, developmental, intellectual and mental health challenges to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose in Kane and surrounding counties. Runners, walkers and wheelchair riders will be blasted with colors in this fun-filled family event. All event proceeds benefit individuals participating in AID programs and services. The 5K will start and end at the AID Aurora main campus, 309 New Indian Trail Court. Same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the race officially beginning at 9:00 a.m. To pre-register for the 5k, participants can visit www.The-Association.org. Before, during and after the race, participants will enjoy food, beverages and a live DJ.
