This year, one in five adults will experience a mental illness—that’s over 40 million people in the U.S. alone—but with early intervention, we can reduce the devastating effects. Proceeds from the One in Five Marathon Relay will fund early intervention programming, as well as Hope Network services for those currently battling severe mental illness.
ONE IN FIVE MARATHON RELAY:
At the relay, teams of five will complete a full marathon. The first four runners will each complete a 5-mile loop, and the last will represent the one in five by taking on a more challenging 6.2-mile route.
1.5-MILE COMMUNITY WALK:
The simple act of walking can end the stigma, change our community, and save lives. We invite your friends and family to join us for the 1.5-Mile Community Walk as we take steps toward that reality.
6.2-MILE INDIVIDUAL RACE:
Support the cause by running as an individual on this year’s 6.2-mile course.
6.2-MILE ACCESSIBILITY RACE:
This event has been designed for athletes who use a wheelchair or handcycle to compete individually on this year’s 6.2-mile course.
