- Join us as the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity’s Boston Chapter hosts the first annual Ryan Shaw Memorial 5K Run along the Charles River in Boston in remembrance of our brother and friend Ryan Scott Shaw. Ryan passed away at the age of 18 on May 9th, 2016 shortly after being diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. Ryan attended St. John’s Prep in Danvers, MA where he excelled academically, becoming an award-winning painter and successful entrepreneur. Ryan was admitted to Northeastern University, spending his freshman fall semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland and his spring semester at Northeastern’s Boston campus. Ryan possessed the ability to get the most out of his friends and peers through his unique combination of charisma, positivity, sense of humor, and drive for success.
Mustard Seed Communities, Inc. (MSC) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for some of the most vulnerable populations in developing societies.
