6th Annual Girls to Women Margaret Wright Wellness 5K Run/Walk Event...

The Girls to Women 6th Annual Margaret Wright 5k Run/Walk takes place in the scenic marshlands of the Mountain View Shoreline.  The race is a fun family event that brings together a diverse group of people from around the Bay Area in support of undeserved girls of East Palo Alto.

Each year this event welcomes the young and old, avid and novice runners, families, friends, and community leaders. This race is special because 100% of the proceeds go towards providing out-of-school academic, personal, and leadership enrichment programs that allow girls to thrive and develop into well-rounded women.

The mission of the Girls to Women organization is to support girls as they design their futures for successful womanhood. We support girls, because we strongly believe if women are properly equipped, they could have a lasting impact on the world.  Because of their primal interaction with children, when you educate a girl you educate a generation.
