The 35th Annual Pace Race is a 5K AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event and 1 Mile Race that takes place right in the heart of Buckhead.  Held just after the Atlanta spring season gets started, the race starts and ends at Pace Academy which is just minutes from the Governor's Mansion on W. Paces Ferry Road.  

The Pace Race 5K is one of the oldest Buckhead races.  The 2016 event had record numbers so register early to ensure a spot.

TEAM SETUP INSRUCTIONS AND JOING AN EXISTING TEAM

1. Choose a captain for your team to initiate the registration process by choosing the race distance the team will enter.  Either the 1 Mile or 5K  *** If everyone on the team is under 18 years of age, an adult has to set the team up.  This person will choose the "NON-PARTICIPATING TEAM CAPTAIN" option under their chosen race distance.  This person will be listed as the captain but not entered to run either race.
2. After you select your t-shirt size, you will be asked if you want to join a team or create a team.  Select YES.
3. Enter the team name that includes one of the extensions below, choose a password, send the information to the team members, and complete your registration by clicking CONTINUE.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want your team to compete for the grade level prize, you MUST add the following extension onto your team name in order to compete for grade level team prizes.
        Pre-1st (Kindergarten)...add -LSP1ST
        1st grade....add -LS1
        2nd grade...add -LS2
        3rd grade thru 5th grade...add -LS35
        6th grade thru 8th grade...add -MS
