Prepare by training in Chicago this spring, and run in the Festival 500 or the Chicago Spring Half in May! You will stay healthy, fit and drop those winter pounds with our 10-week run training program. Our half marathon training program is geared toward the Chicago Spring Half on May 15, 2011 (race entry not included in program). Our program uses Heart Zones Training and training with a heart rate monitor as its core concepts of training. Our training method allows you to run faster, and healthier than just with pace or "RPE" (rate of perceived exertion).
The program is great for beginner to advanced runners. You will learn all the in's and out's of effective running technique, injury prevention, clothing, nutrition and more in this comprehensive training program.
