Greetings Participants,
We cordially invite you to participate in the 1st annual Fox84 Initiative 5K Fun Run/Walk, on April 22, 2017, which is a fund-raising event for mentorship programs in the Marion, SC area.
The 1st annual Fox84 Initiative 5K fun run/walk will take participants on a scenic route through Marion, South Carolina. The race will start at Marion High School/ Green Street. Participants will proceed down Green Street passing the National Guard Armory continuing onto Gurley Street, passing Johnakin Middle School and Grice's Recreation Center. Runners will then turn left onto Liberty Street bypassing several iconic landmarks and buildings. Runners will then turn left onto Bobby L. Davis Boulevard and proceed past St. John's Church, turning left on Martin Luther King Blvd. As participants bypass the Door of Hope Christian Church, turning right onto Main Street for 200 yards the runners will turn onto Green Street and end back in front of Marion High School for the finish.
The event also includes a post-race festival complete with music, food, and a variety of vendors.
This event will be managed and certified by RMS race management systems. USATF/RRTC National Certifier for USA & South Carolina Regional Certifier.

PACKET PICKUP
We will have 1 packet pickup locations throughout the day on Friday, 4/21. New registration will also be available (cash, check, and card will all be taken).

There will be new registration and packet pickup starting at 7:00 AM on race day. However, we highly recommend registering and coming to packet pick up before race day!

8:00 AM on a Saturday morning is already tough enough. Getting your packet before Saturday AM means you don't have to get there as early which equal sleeping in a little more. That's called a 'Win-Win.'

#3: GET YOUR SHIRT
Race shirts are guaranteed for those who register by April 2. Race shirts will be available for participants who register between April 03 - April 2. Shirt pick up for these participants will be on race day at registration desk. this is your best chance to get a shirt! Plus, this year's shirt is good. You should wear it on Race Day!
4: IT'S JUST EASIER
Really, it's a no-brainer - it's easier for you and it's easier on our volunteers!
